Follow these sweet tips to ensure your new soy candle burns cleanly and safely.

A few quick notes...

Allow the wax to melt all the way to the glass edge (full melt pool) when burning your candle for the first time. This is called "the memory burn".
To get the most out of your soy candle, it's best to burn for at least 1-2 hours each time, melting edge to edge.
Trim the wick as needed to 1/4 inch before each burn, as needed. Use scissors or nail clippers.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not burn your candle for more than four hours at a time.
Enjoy! Once finished, clean and repurpose your glass jar!

How to Burn Soy Candles: The Quest to Waste Less!

Each time you burn your soy candle, we’re looking for a full melt pool each time. This takes time, about 2 to 3 hours, so plan ahead.

Take a look at the pictures below to see what we mean. Why care so much?! Well, these aren’t $5 paraffin wax, blue dye, chemical candles, so, we want you to get the most out of your R&S soy candle and to enjoy the clean fragrance experience to its fullest.

1. Recently Lit

This candle has been burning for less than an hour. Keep going! We want to see a full melt pool...

2. Getting There

We're ALMOST there. There's just a bit more wax around the edges left to melt. Keep burning!

3. Success!

We did it. Full melt pool achieved. Candle nerds rejoice. Burn for 2 to 3 hrs. each time.

Travel Diffuser Directions & Care

A few quick notes on how to set up and enjoy your 3-season on-the-go River & Stone travel fragrance diffuser.

A few quick notes...

Unscrew the wooden top.
Carefully remove the plastic plug.
Twist wooden top back on tightly.
Hang from rearview mirror; make sure diffuser is upright.
Tie a knot at the end of the string, if desired.
The diffuser moves when you drive, and will carry the scent. Tip it gently for 1 second, as needed, to refresh the scent.

Please note that this product contains oils, which can potentially harm upholstery or leather if not used correctly. Make sure the cap is secure and regularly check for leaks, especially after encountering potholes or bumps in the road!
